Breanne is the newest member of our team and a long time family friend. She joins us as our primary scanner and will be assisting with methadone list maintenance and special projects. She is detail oriented and brings a lot of enthusiasm to the job and ensures that we have continued an timely access to your scanned files which helps the entire team provide exemplary service. She is a welcome addition to Medcom.

Christy started working for us in 2006. Her main focus here at Medcom is the planning, coordination and registration of billing seminars and workshops. Christy also assists with special administrative projects and created the company website in addition to pursuing her career as a professional free-lance photographer. She enjoys being Medcom’s Events Coordinator because “the position covers such a variety of different areas that I get to be responsible for”.

Daisy joined Medcom in 2018 and has been trained as a Medical Office assistant and came highly recommended by her MOA trainer. She is completing training in all areas of billing and office duties and has quickly become a valuable member of the team. Daisy is currently off on maternity leave and we are looking forward to her return.

Jenn brought 4 years of high volume data entry experience with her when she joined Medcom in 2013. She manages many of our ER clients and is also our weekly courier. Jenn enjoys the flexibility and low stress environment and is thankful for her position and future with Valley Medcom.

Joni began working for Medcom in 2008 after working in a Purchasing Department doing data entry. Her duties include private billing, researches and collections processing. Her job at Medcom gives Joni the flexibility to work around other responsibilities. Joni likes that her job “provides a lot of variety which makes things interesting so time flies when I am at work”.

Kim has worked as an employee for almost 10 years and now continues to provide holiday and illness relief for data entry, scanning and our courier route all while managing her own virtual assistant and web design business. Kim is working on our new website and after that she will be coordinating our new web based medical billing training program.

Leanne joined us in 2018 and works part time while maintaining her full time job at JPOC. Additionally she has training as a medical office assistant and a medical transcriptionist working for the FHA and medical offices.

Melinda started working for Medcom in 2009 and prior to that worked for a large company processing orders, which involved a lot of data entry. Her primary responsibilities at Medcom include reconciliation and rebilling and refer backs and Melinda has been responsible for training of new staff. Melinda enjoys “the flexibility of working at Medcom and the comfortable, casual office atmosphere”.

Sandra was a secretary for an engineering firm for 10 years prior to joining Medcom in 1999. She manages data entry for many of our ER physicians and specialists. Sandra says “the flexibility and the friendly environment are the best part of working for the company”.

Sarah’s formal training as an MOA, followed by work experience in a physiotherapy office, led her to Medcom in early 2012. Her main focus is GP billing including remote clinics as well as some ER clients and specialists. Sarah finds Medcom “an incredible place to work, I love that I can apply my medical terminology and that no day is the same as the one before”.

We are lucky to have such an amazing team of ladies who go above and beyond, time and time again, to deliver the very best in customer service and meet deadlines with one of the lowest industry error rates of 0.01%!
